A recent article in The New York Times proposed that Adam Back might be the enigmatic figure behind Bitcoin. However, Saylor approached these assertions with caution.
In a post on social media, he expressed that while stylometric analysis—an examination of writing styles—is intriguing, it should not be viewed as definitive proof. “Stylometry is an interesting discipline, but it does not constitute evidence,” he emphasized, particularly referencing early communications.

Saylor, a proponent of Bitcoin ($BTC), pointed out that historical email exchanges between Satoshi and Adam Back suggest they are distinct individuals. He argued this undermines the theory that links Back to Nakamoto.
The entrepreneur also reiterated a widely accepted principle within the Bitcoin community: only a signature from Satoshi’s private keys can conclusively confirm his identity. “Unless it’s authenticated with Satoshi’s keys, every hypothesis remains merely speculative,” he remarked.
