Fetch.ai's New AI-to-AI Payment Platform Integrates USDC and FET for Seamless Transactions

Fetch.ai has introduced a groundbreaking AI-to-AI payment solution that enables autonomous transactions between artificial intelligences using USDC and FET tokens via its ASI:One platform.

This innovative system empowers both personal and commercial AIs to independently manage bookings and payments by leveraging on-chain transactions alongside Visa integration, streamlining processes without human intervention.

In a pioneering demonstration, a Personal AI developed on the ASI:One framework successfully organized a group dinner, secured the reservation through OpenTable, and finalized the payment—all executed while the user was offline.

“Agentic payments represent the foundation of an AI-driven economy,” stated Humayun Sheikh, Fetch.ai’s CEO. “By authorizing AIs to perform transactions autonomously on our behalf, we are ushering in an era where intelligent agents can execute tasks securely and deliver tangible value without requiring direct human involvement.”

The platform grants users control by allowing them to set spending limits for their AIs. This ensures that while AIs operate independently when timing is critical, users retain oversight over expenditures. Personal AIs can now seamlessly interact with Business AIs to conduct real-time bookings and payments as well as perform actions offline using pre-approved funds.

The payment infrastructure features specialized AI wallets with customizable spending caps, temporary Visa credentials for card-based purchases that safeguard actual card information, along with support for blockchain-based payments utilizing USDC and FET tokens.

A comprehensive rollout of this AI-to-AI payment capability is planned for January, making it accessible through the ASI:One platform to all users interested in leveraging autonomous financial interactions between intelligent agents.
