The company’s balance sheet and insurance products are calculated in Bitcoin. According to audited data released in April, Meanwhile had a total of 1,183 $BTC in assets at the end of 2025. This figure was more than five times higher than the previous year. The company’s legal capital and excess assets amounted to 759 $BTC.

Meanwhile’s $BTC Life 1-Pay product targets high-net-worth clients outside the US. Policyholders pay their premium in a single Bitcoin payment, and death coverage is also determined in Bitcoin. After the first year, policyholders can borrow up to 90% of their policy value. The company states that there are no fixed repayment schedules or margin calls for these loans.

Since the product’s launch, agreements have been made with 15 insurance brokers serving affluent families in various regions, including Singapore, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, and Switzerland.

Meanwhile, in 2024, it received an insurance license from the Monetary Authority of Bermuda. It is stated that the assets of policyholders are held in regulated institutional custodians.

The model aims to allow Bitcoin owners to plan for inheritance and long-term wealth without selling their assets. However, the fact that the collateral is in Bitcoin means its value can fluctuate significantly against fiat currency. Therefore, the product carries different risks than traditional life insurance.
