Discover the Top Cryptocurrency with the Highest Number of Active Wallets: Surprising Insights Reveal Bitcoin’s Position Isn’t at the Top

Santiment, a firm specializing in cryptocurrency analytics, has published data highlighting the digital assets with the most active wallets on their respective blockchains.

This information sheds light on which blockchain networks boast larger and more engaged user communities, providing valuable insights into market behavior and trends.

The recent figures from Santiment indicate that Ethereum leads significantly with around 167.96 million active wallets. Bitcoin comes next with 57.62 million active wallets. Among stablecoins, Tether (USDT) recorded 9.63 million active wallets, while USD Coin (USDC) had 4.39 million.

Other notable platforms include Dogecoin at 8.13 million active wallets, XRP Ledger with 7.41 million, Cardano holding 4.54 million, and Chainlink featuring approximately 819 thousand active users. Santiment emphasizes that this metric serves as a crucial gauge of sustained network engagement and investor confidence over time.

Additionally, Santiment offered insights into Bitcoin’s recent price fluctuations and derivative market risks. Their analysis pointed out that Bitcoin surged rapidly to nearly $90,087 on Coinbase before retracting to about $86,580 shortly after.

The company highlighted that increasing positive funding rates across exchanges suggest a rise in leveraged long positions—a pattern historically linked to sharp liquidations and heightened volatility phases—often resulting in temporary price peaks followed by abrupt declines.
