BlackRock, the globe’s most prominent asset management firm, has acquired a substantial 3.8% of all Bitcoin in circulation via its iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT). This remarkable event was highlighted by Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas, who remarked on the extraordinary nature of this achievement. He pointed out that even though Equity ETFs have been around much longer than IBIT, they haven’t reached such impressive figures.
