AsiaStrategy has chosen Anchorage Digital to manage the custody and settlement of its Bitcoin treasury operations, acquiring 30 BTC on September 30.
According to AsiaStrategy, this partnership encompasses cross-border activities between the United States and Asia. Anchorage Digital will act as the main custodian and infrastructure provider for executing and settling treasury transactions across these regions.
Anchorage Digital highlights that their regulated status supports this mandate. This includes Anchorage Digital Bank N.A., the only federally chartered crypto bank in the U.S., alongside Anchorage Digital Singapore, which is licensed by Singapore’s Monetary Authority, as well as holding a New York BitLicense.
The company also noted that after implementing GENIUS regulations, Anchorage Digital Bank became a federally regulated stablecoin issuer in the U.S. Their platform offers trading and staking services in addition to custody solutions. AsiaStrategy intends to expand its Bitcoin holdings beyond the initial 30 BTC while developing its treasury strategy.
