Jeffrey Epstein's 2011 Bitcoin Associate Finally Speaks Out Revealing New Statements

Recently uncovered emails from 2011 reveal an attempt by early cryptocurrency figures to establish contact with Jeffrey Epstein.

In that year, Jason Calacanis reportedly shared the contact details of Bitcoin developers Gavin Andresen and Amir Taaki with Epstein. This occurred shortly after the mysterious creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, had stepped away from the project. Notably, Gavin Andresen also held a meeting with CIA officials during that same period.

Amir Taaki addressed this situation on social media, confirming he received an email from Epstein. Taaki explained that at the time he was perceived as “the CEO of Bitcoin,” and asserted that Epstein’s outreach was not motivated by investment interests or friendship but rather aimed at gathering information.

Taaki recounted his experience as follows:

“At 22 years old, I was a hacker living in my mother's house. I had co-founded a company with a friend when suddenly a billionaire reached out wanting to invest. My initial reaction was enthusiasm; however, my partner conducted thorough research and grew wary due to emerging allegations about him.”

According to Taaki’s account, his business partner met Epstein in person during a trip to New York City. Following this encounter, they decided to halt all dealings related to the project. Taaki recalled: “When he returned, he said 'absolutely not' and terminated everything immediately.”

The email exchanges show Epstein praising Bitcoin as an ingenious concept while simultaneously highlighting significant concerns about it. Nevertheless, Taaki suggested that Epstein regarded them as “idealistic radicals”, keeping his distance rather than engaging closely.

Furthermore, Taaki mentioned that instead of supporting them financially, Epstein chose to back other individuals within the Bitcoin community.
