Bitget has significantly increased its Bitcoin holdings, now possessing 34,055 BTC valued at approximately $3 billion as of December 2025. This represents a remarkable 114% growth compared to the previous year, highlighting the platform’s efforts to strengthen its financial foundation amid growing institutional demand.
The accumulation of Bitcoin reserves by Bitget gained momentum throughout the year. Starting from 28,022 BTC in August, the exchange expanded its stash to 30,300 BTC by October and further boosted it by an additional 4,000 BTC in December. This rapid increase reflects a strategic push towards greater asset security.
Beyond Bitcoin, Bitget maintains robust reserve coverage for other key cryptocurrencies. According to their December report, the exchange holds full backing for all major assets: with reserves covering 300% of Bitcoin liabilities, 183% for Ethereum, 129% for USDC stablecoins, and complete coverage (100%) for USDT tokens.
