Recent developments in the blockchain sphere have drawn attention to billionaire investor Tim Draper, who is renowned for his optimistic stance on Bitcoin. Following his earlier positive remarks, reports suggest that a sell-off occurred from a wallet thought to be associated with him.
Data from the on-chain analytics service Onchain Lens indicates that a wallet linked to Draper moved 150.84 BTC, which had been held for about a year, to what appears to be a centralized exchange (likely Coinbase). This transaction is valued at roughly $11.62 million; however, it has been reported that this transfer incurred an estimated loss of around $2.57 million.

The market is paying close attention to this transfer as it follows closely after Draper’s bold prediction of Bitcoin reaching $250,000. While there hasn’t been any official confirmation regarding whether this transfer was intended for selling purposes, it’s widely recognized that moving assets onto an exchange typically signals preparation for sale.
Draper has made a name for himself through early investments in numerous significant projects including Tesla, Skype, Coinbase, Ledger, and Tezos.
